Do-It Corporation Achieves ISO 14000:2004 Certification

International Recognition for Environmental Management Practices Further Reflects Do-It's Commitment to Its Customers and the Environment.

Do-It Corporation, the inventor of the hang tab, announces that it has received its International Organizations for Standardization (ISO) 14000:2004 certification for Environmental Management practices. This achievement illustrates Do-It Corporation's commitment to exceeding customer expectations through continuously improving their processes and services. The ISO 14000 certification is primarily concerned with "environmental management". This includes what the organization does to minimize harmful effects on the environment caused by its activities, and to achieve continual improvement of its environmental performance.

Do-It earned its ISO 14001:2004 Certificate of Registration on December 13, 2005 by NSF International Strategic Registrations, Ltd. Do-It's ISO 14001:2004 certificate number is 65932-1. In 1998, Do-It earned its ISO Quality Management System 9001:1994 certification, helping increase customer satisfaction and product consistency above 99 percent. In December of 2002, and again in 2005, Do-It was re-certified for ISO 9001:2000 by meeting more stringent criteria for production methods, quality procedures, and product quality. Do-It's ISO 9001:2000 certificate number is 65931-4.

Hawaiian Tropic drew attention to new product launches and promotions for its line of sunscreen with eye-catching instant redeemable coupons (IRCs) thanks to PrinTab Printed Hang Tabs from Do-It.

Do-It designed six different coupons that applied more quickly and easily to the curved bottles using Hawaiian Tropic's automatic application system. The coupons were unobtrusive, yet large enough to contain a printed, scanable bar code. Do-It used one band of adhesive to attach the coupon horizontally rather than the previous paper booklet IRC, which used two bands running vertically.
